Hi There! Today I am digging up and overwintering my Alocasia California before our first frost date. This is a process I use for any plant that I'm overwintering as a houseplant. It can be very stressful on the plants so give them some time to adjust to being inside and have patience when/if you start to see yellow leaves. The only Elephant Ears that I overwinter as houseplants are Alocasias and small elephant ears, because they tend to make better houseplants than the Big Colocasias In my opinion.
